We were recommended DMC by a company that no longer does the work we were looking for but said that these guys are one of the very few left that still do a good job.

Now that the work is completed I can say with certainty the praise was an understatement. From the moment Dan walked through and listened to what we wanted to do he offered several different options that all made sense. No one else offered them before him.

We had a lot of options available and could pick to our choosing how custom we wanted the job to be and if we wanted to decrease or increase the price in certain aspects. We would also get a weekly report on what has been done. The professionalism of the whole operation cannot be mentioned enough.

The staff that Dan employs works on another level, we had the pleasure of having Martin as our project manager who handled everything as if it were his own. The level of care and cleanliness was exemplary. We even trusted him with leaving our house to him during a 2 week absence.

Dan and his team were terrific to work with on our log home renovation project near Sasquatch Mountain Resort. My wife and I had met and spoken with Dan at the BC Home Show two years running and finally decided to take the leap and get him up to our lodge in Hemlock Valley. We're high up a mountain, west of Harrison Lake, and it can be a struggle to get skilled tradespeople here to do good quality work.
Dan was so easy to deal with. He listened to our wants, looked at our place, and asked us questions about the scope of the project and what our motivation was. We needed a kitchen upgrade, as well as help with our three bathrooms, and because our home is made of logs, there were challenges. He provided clear options, and creative ones, to issues my wife and I could not see passed.
The quote given was detailed and appreciated. He then introduced us to Wade, our awesome lead for the job, and Derek too.
I had a good feeling about these guys at every step and, once the job was underway, knew that I would not have to babysit anyone. There were a few hiccups (every job has hiccups), but I did not stress at any point because I knew that Wade and his team would take care of them without me having to gripe and complain.
To make their time in our home even more difficult, we had agreed to a hard stop for the job would be the Thanksgiving Day long weekend. This gave them a little over two weeks to get it all done. My wife and I host guests at the lodge and we were booked for that special weekend.
Wade, Derek, and the rest of DMC's amazing team not only finished the job on time, and did so with outstanding quality, they also thoroughly cleaned our home before our next guests arrived. I was stunned at how well they did.
