We could not have had a more positive experience! From beginning to end, and top to "bottom", the DeckedOut team was outstanding. They were professional, courteous and helpful with anything that came up during the process of removing and replacing the old deck. The workmanship and attention to detail is impeccable. They kept us informed as they progressed, but were as unobtrusive to us and our neighbors as they could be. At the end of each day they organized and cleaned up the work area. I'm sure we probably could have had the deck done for a little less, but the quality of the materials ,workmanship, and the entire experience made the price well worth what we paid.Renaissance Remodeling and DeckedOut will be my "go to" for any future projects!
Renaissance Remodeling is a fantastic company to work with. We recently completed a 580 square foot addition with them, and it went incredibly well overall. Carlie and Katie, our project designers, were very helpful (and patient) in designing our project. It took many meetings to get all the details hammered out (including small details such as specific outlet placement and dimmer switches). They could have rushed us, but they didn’t. They let us take our time, which was very appreciated. Also, their 3d modeling software was instrumental in helping us create our space. What you have in your head may look very different when it shows up in 3d, and having the ability to play with your space on the fly was incredibly, incredibly helpful.I certainly want to give a special shout out to Brian Anderton, our superintendent, and his crew. Not only is Brian patient, but he was attentive, validating, caring, thoughtful, and handled some large hiccups in our project well. Like I said before, our project went incredibly well, but that doesn’t mean it went perfectly. There was an unexpected support beam when we opened up a wall, an issue with our crawl space, and some hiccups with the subcontractors. However, Brian was immediately on it, and Renaissance took the problems head-on and addressed them. There was no passing it off, ignoring it, charging us more money for things that were already stated in the contract, etc. Quite honestly, I would recommend Renaissance 1000 times over because you can be sure that if (really, when) a problem arises with your project, they will handle it, and handle it well. Also, Brian’s crew showed up on time every day, worked hard, were respectful, and even though they were in our house daily for several months, it was never uncomfortable.Lastly, I want to give Chad (the owner) a nod. He’s built a customer-oriented company that gives the customer a smooth experience from start to finish. Nothing in remodeling goes smoothly all the time, but they’ve managed to make it as smooth as it could ever possibly be. And, mostly importantly, they take care of you. This is how companies should be built. In sum, I highly recommend Renaissance Remodeling. They take care of their customers, they complete their projects in the timeline they state, they give you the product and finish you signed up for, they address issues head-on, and most importantly, they bring your dream to life!
We just completed our final walkthrough for a small 11' x 14' addition constructed by Renaissance Remodeling. They finished a month ahead of schedule! Our neighbors walk by and ask us where is the new addition because it blends in perfectly with our existing home. Our experience working with Renaissance Remodeling was fantastic, all of the sub-contractors were great, and they will be the first company we will call for future remodeling projects. Thank you Renaissance Remodeling!
Buyer beware! Overpriced for no reason. I had two guys come over to “quote” me on a kitchen remodel but instead they just kept insisting I agreed to certain price point, which I am able to meet… but no one could properly explain to me why your price point starts at 3 times the amount as any other quotes I received, without even offering any creative design solutions or changes to our project. And my other quotes were not from big box stores but from other reputable remodel and custom cabinetry businesses in the treasure valley..At the end of our short appointment, I was told they couldn’t help me and left. Nothing was even measured so I’m sure I will not be receiving an actual quote. I’ve never met anybody so eager to NOT take my money lol! I understand you think your the Lexus of remodeling but even Lexus can tell me why they are more than a Toyota.. ultimately huge waste of time.Edit:Since I’m unable to respond directly, I’m editing my original post. I appreciate your reply; however, my one-star rating remains. So essentially you have a base fee associated with simply engaging your team. My concern is that a minimum spend was determined before I had the opportunity to share inspiration photos, discuss cabinet or countertop selections, or to even outline the full scope of improvements I was considering.I was particularly disappointed because I did take the time to review prior customer feedback and assumed that my project would be evaluated on its individual merits, as my other quotes were. Unfortunately, the conversation did not progress beyond the stated minimum, which prevented us from discussing potential future work, including a bathroom remodel and addition. While my home is fully paid off and I am blessed with financial flexibility, I approach renovations thoughtfully and seek transparency around how costs are determined. For those reasons, I felt this experience continues to not meet my expectations.Good luck to you as well in your future endeavors.
We had a great experience with Renaissance, with a large remodel of our home in McCall! The project was complicated, changing out the stairs, moving walls, new kitchen, new floor coverings and windows, and it all came together great! Thanks to the staff at Renaissance for giving us a new home!
