We recently had a complete remodel of both our main and ensuite bathrooms by Mavish Homes Inc. The scope of work involved conversion of a bathtub to a shower enclosure, retiling of same and floors, replacement of vanities/cabinets and all fixtures.Owner contractor Mark’s organization skills were apparent from the start. He was clear and transparent, and returned our calls promptly to resolve any questions or concerns we had. He kept us informed throughout the entire process.John has excellent attention to detail as he worked tirelessly during his demolition, rebuilding, installations and painting. Thomas’ tile work was beautiful. The entire team was punctual, conducted themselves professionally and was respectful of our home and belongings.Our expectations have been fully met. Our kitchen needed work as it was the original from 1989 and needed an overhaul. This was our first go working with a general contractor and both my wife and I were nervous – it was going to be a major undertaking.With that being said, we were very happy with selecting Mavish Homes. Mark added a lot of value to our renovation. His project planning, budgeting and communication was timely and detailed. The subcontractor coordination was efficient and we had minimal periods of downtime. When going through the punch list at the end, Mark's standards were even higher than ours and was willing to go above and beyond to make things perfect.Mark’s recommendations were also solid - he helped with selecting an interior designer (Jamie Banfield) to help with planning out our kitchen reno (from concepts and designs, all the way to drawings for permits). The referral was spot on; Jamie and his team helped us come up with a design that we loved, with Mark also on the other end to ensure that it would still meet our budget.There’s more that could be said but for the sake of brevity I’ll leave it at this - our experience with Mark was excellent; I would definitely work with him again or refer him to a friend as he has earned our trust through this process.Before and after pictures added for reference.
