One word sums up our experience with F2 Construction: WOW!

We have worked with a number of contractors over the years, and this has been our best experience by far. A good contractor does quality work, shows up on time, communicates well and cleans up the project site every day. F2 did all of these things and more.

We were initially impressed with Face during the first phone call. He was able to give us a rough estimate of the project (that very closely matched other in-person estimates) right over the phone. The scope of the work included renovating a condo unit, including updating/adding electrical outlets, 2 new bathrooms, kitchen refresh (paint existing cabinets, remove 2-level countertop, adding storage cabinets under new large countertop), updating lighting and flooring throughout.

We were under a tight timeline and the F2 team worked very hard to keep the project on pace. We were assigned a project manager, Carola, who was amazing! Carola kept us informed of the progress, let us know if there was anything her team needed from us, and had an amazing eye for little details that we would have overlooked. More importantly, Carola and her team communicated with the condo administration. They were very appreciative when they had notice of "noisy construction days" (and it was very noisy, as it reverberated throughout the whole building!), so that they could give advanced warning to all of the residents.

The quality of the work is excellent. A few examples: We were initially concerned about the painting of the kitchen cabinets. Face said his team could do it, whereas another contractor said that it was a specialty that they would have to sub out. Face was right--his team did a beautiful job and the cabinets look gorgeous. The tile work in the bathrooms is another area that stands out. The shower glass installer noted how the shower walls and curb were perfectly level, a sign of quality craftsmanship. Finally, F2 attends to the little details. As I write this review, the foreman Joe just arrived to answer some of our lingering questions.

Equally important, the F2 crew kept the work site clean. One of our main doors opens to a carpeted hallway, so we were concerned that construction debris would get trailed down the hall. It never happened. We are very appreciative of the efforts the team made to clean up each day.

We are so happy with the outcome of our project. If you are thinking about a renovation, we urge you use F2 Construction.
