Working with Dawson Contracting was an absolute breathe of fresh air! We've had some back luck with contractors in the past, but this time our luck completely turned around! We did a basement remodel/finish, which was our biggest home project to date. We were so surprised how quickly they finished the project, and how clean their team was! I can’t begin to express how impressed I am with Dawson Contracting. We have worked with several builders in the past, both in Fargo and in the lakes area. By far and away, Matt Dawson and the businesses he contracts with are the absolute BEST! In a matter of minutes after coming to our home to give us an estimate, Matt was energized with creative ideas and possibilities. Not only did we get a beautiful new kitchen and living space, but each of the businesses he works with gave us the best financial package they could. The final bill was quite a bit less than other estimates we received, plus we got much MORE done than we thought we could.Talk about organized and efficient! We’ve all heard nightmare building and remodeling stories, but that was NEVER the case with Dawson Contracting. Matt always let us know when projects were going to be done, when people were on their way and what time they would be here. Everyone was incredibly prompt, efficient and easy to have around. The entire project, demolishing to entertaining friends and family again, took 4 weeks. We worked with Dawson Contracting on a remodel of our kitchen/dining room which involved lowering an island, knocking down walls, rs, new windows.
