Building a new house is stressful especially if you have never done it before. This was our first house and probably our last. It’s not our last because our experience with Atlas Construction. It’s because they do excellent work. I wish I could say everything went smoothly but planning and building a home is so complicated. We had many insecurities about our design, our selections and our decisions but Atlas held our hand through the entire process and we are very pleased with the end product. Communication during construction could have been better but overall it has been a wonderful experience. We love our new home and we are happy and thankful that we selected Atlas Construction.

Selected Atlas Construction to build a new single family home. The process began with the drawing up of house plans. We met with Rodney and Jeremy on many occasions to discuss what we wanted in the new home. They provided valuable input based on their construction knowledge and experience.
The construction was supervised by Shay, our project manager. She was assigned the difficult task of overseeing and coordinating the work for all the different construction phases. She was very responsive to our questions and concerns and always there to reassure us during the rough spots. She did a great job.
Bethany was excellent in advising and assisting with the selection of counter tops, flooring, fixtures, cabinets, etc. She was knowledgeable, gave insight into the selection process and a pleasure to work with.
During the various stages of construction, we were very impressed with the quality of work by Atlas workers. Two who stood out as examples were Gabe, mason/site work foreman, and Wade, carpenter foreman. They were hard workers and always took the time to explain their answers to our questions.
The final result was a beautiful home. Highly recommend Atlas.

After many years of discussion, my mom finally agreed to live with us! The best solution was to build an ADU so she could have a space she felt comfortable in and could call home. It was quite a big change for her after living independently, so we took our time researching options and companies. My mom wanted a design-build company that would take care of the entire project from start to finish. We met with three other design-build companies and felt most comfortable with Atlas. Their estimate was also fair and reasonable.

Josh, our project coordinator, was down to earth, patient, a good listener, and easy to work with. He made my mom feel at ease and clearly cared about what was important to her. Josh was a constant presence from the beginning and throughout the design phase.

We met with Jeremy and Josh weekly to design the layout and specifications of the ADU. We had difficulty making some decisions and changed our minds on a few things. They were incredibly patient and kind toward us, doing their best to accommodate exactly what my mom wanted. We continued meeting weekly with them until we were completely happy with the design plans. After that, they took care of submitting the plans for permitting.

Once permitting was approved—less than a year later—we met at our home with Josh, Bruce (the owner), and Shay and Saul. Bruce came to meet us personally to share the company’s heart, commitment, and dedication to its customers.

Shay was our project manager, and we worked with her for the entire duration of the build. Shay was extremely responsive, patient, accommodating, and always available. We can be very detail-oriented and nit-picky, but she took it all in stride. She truly went above and beyond every step of the way to make sure we were happy with everything and completely satisfied with the end product. Even when unexpected things came up or things didn’t go exactly as planned, Shay always made it right.

The build took about nine months, which was quicker than the permitting. All the workers and subcontractors were great to work with. They were respectful, on time, and hardworking. Unfortunately, I can’t remember everyone’s names, but I specifically want to give a shout-out to Gabe, Randy, Shane, and Aaron; and to the subcontractors, Joel (electrician) and Marlon (AC).

Bethany, our selections coordinator, was also wonderful—knowledgeable, helpful, and willing to meet with us multiple times. She even came with us to different vendors to help us select every single item in the ADU. Her eye for design was extremely helpful. She also put together a packet of all the products we selected with their warranties and rebates!

We can’t thank Atlas enough for their professionalism and trustworthiness. Every member of the team worked with the same ethic and care. My mom is extremely happy and settled in her new home. It has everything she asked for, with quality materials and craftsmanship. Atlas was amazingly able to design an ADU with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a laundry room, living room, and kitchen—all within 800 square feet!

Even after our project was done, we have contacted Shay a few times, and she is still incredibly helpful and responsive. We are truly grateful for Josh, Shay, and the entire Atlas ‘Ohana and team who made us feel more like family than customers. We would not hesitate to recommend Atlas for your next construction project. They made a very daunting, overwhelming project as simple and easy as it could be, especially for people with no background knowledge in construction. Thank you so much for everything!!!

This is a long overdue of Atlas Construction. They helped us design and build an ADU, starting back in 2018! They helped us create a unique L-shaped design so that we could maximize the space on our lot and the views from the rooms. They also took care of all the permitting and helped us through the process so that we only had to make a few decisions at a time. We liked many of the fixtures and other options that were within the pricing structure and it was easy to work with their partner vendors for things like designing the cabinets and picking out countertops and tiles. It was also very clear if we wanted options that would cost extra, so there were no surprises. I’m writing now because we’ve had a couple of wear and tear items come up and even though they were out of warranty, Atlas has still been super helpful reconnecting us with the vendors and getting things fixed right away. With the heavy rains back in January this year (2025), we noticed a leak in the roof. When we contacted Atlas, they made sure to send the roofer right away, since we were forecast to get more rain soon. He was able to fix everything quickly and we stayed dry in the storm and haven’t had any problems since. We had a great experience working with Atlas, they helped make what was a daunting and overwhelming process relatively straightforward and fun. Plus, we love the house that was the result!

Bethany provided invaluable assistance with selecting countertops, paint colors, and finishing touches, ensuring our home was both beautiful and cohesive. Our project manager, Shay, went above and beyond, adding unexpected extras to make our home not only stunning but also functional and secure.
