Everyone at Bret Slaton Homes was very knowledgeable and professional to deal with. We experienced major water damage from a ruptured water line. They were lightning quick to respond with an itemized quote for all of the damages. All through the repairs they communicated their sub contractors schedules to us and consulted us in the decision making process. The office staff and onsite job forman were very responsive to any request, day or night, and made us feel at ease. The sub contractors were very experienced and did quality work. We feel like we have a brand new home, thanks to Bret Slaton and his incredible Team!

I was so very excited about this job being done. I was apprehensive and kinda scared. These guys know their stuff. They were cordial, considerate and enjoyable. I had the walls redone in my kitchen with wainscotting with 2 colors of paint. They were the best painters!! I am looking forward to them doing more in my house.. Well worth the money!!
Do not use Bret Slaton Homes. They originally quoted 6-8 weeks to do a kitchen and bathroom reno, and they didn’t even have to do the demo. It took them 7 months to complete it. We were in a hotel the whole time because it is our only full bathroom. In those seven months were countless delays and disappointments. Their vendor ordered the wrong tile twice. We had to have them change and fix things about the cabinets several times because it was wrong. Their cabinet vendor literally peed ON the side of our house. He was directly in front of our outside camera. They didn’t care. After they installed the kitchen sink, it wasn’t draining, and they refused to even have their plumbers look at it, claiming it was not their fault. So we had to pay our own plumber out of pocket, who said the blockage was because they poured tile grout down the drain. They left paint drippings all over my floors. Our house was broken into and seemingly squatted in for a period of time because they were taking so long. We tried to appeal to them to make us a priority since now someone knew our house was empty because it had been several months already. They, again, did not care. Every single issue that happened, our project manager Troy would ensure us that nothing was his fault and he had no control over anything, even though that is quite literally the job of the project manager. He also was extremely condescending and would talk down to me any chance he got. I was extremely patient and extremely responsive to them, but they would ignore my emails and texts and phone calls until it was time to send me an invoice. I signed the “satisfaction” paper just to get them out of my house, but I’m still unhappy with several things in the house because they did not pay attention to detail at all (wonky tile in the shower, baseboards not puttied or painted so nails are visible, and lots of things like that). Just absolutely the worst experience and I cannot stress enough how far away from this company you should stay.
