Gothart Homes built our forever home for my family in 2023, and we are still amazed nearly 3 years later. Typically new construction, or any home project for that matter, comes with a lot of stress and turmoil but with Chris and his team, we honestly didnt feel any of that. When things came up, it was handled with the swiftness and care that can only be appreciated if you experience it. Their processes from start to finish moved liked clockwork, and they made sure we were satisfied at every turn. The subcontractors were a joy to work with as well. After all was said and done, we ended up with a beautiful home, and a bunch of folks i consider friends. Chris and I still call and catch up with each other often, so their service doesnt end upon completion. Good man, great company!
Employing Chris Gothart and his team of subcontractors at my recent renovation and home addition was one of the best experiences and choices I have made in my renovation experiences. Our family has done multiple renovations around the country in our travels and have been impressed with the professionalism of Chris and his crew. They have consistently arrived on time as promised, met or underran every budget item, delivered a top-notch custom product and were totally committed to providing the best customer service in the business. The work they did was of the highest quality, the communication was great from start to finish, and they made the renovation a really enjoyable experience.
Chris and his subcontractors did an excellent job on our new porch addition! They replaced a dilapidated wood porch, added a roof, gutters, downspout drains, a brick and concrete porch, and a big wrap-around concrete patio. They installed new electrical, fans, and canned lights too. I work from home so I was able to catch a few potential mistakes with framing, concrete, and drainage before they occurred. I have no doubt Chris would make it right had I not been home. I did have a couple call-backs to get some vinyl work repaired (wavy ceiling and a couple ugly joints). Chris had recently lost his screen contractor so I had to find one myself. BLT did an excellent job for me. I had to install my own stair rails as well, which I purchased through Home Depot after tons of research (Peak Aluminum Deck Railing). I also did my own landscaping with top soil and sod to finish it off.The concrete contractor did not cover my brick when pouring, so I ended up with a good bit of splatters across the back of the house. That’s the one mistake I wish we had avoided. Chris paid a pressure washer to come do his best to remedy it, but it was mostly permanent.Chris’ communication was great. He helped me finalize my design with a future pool in mind. I thought he was fair on price as well. I would definitely do business with Chris again!
There is always an act of faith necessary when allowing workmen into a home. Without a doubt, Gothart Homes more than rewarded our “leap of faith”. Chris & his team could not have been more professional, friendly & efficient remodeling our master bath.Chris listened to our thoughts, made innovative suggestions & greatly improved our vision for our remodel. He saved us money in his design, scheduled his crews efficiently to minimize interference. Our master bath is still awesome years after the work was completed.We used Chris to update our hall bathroom too & have recommended him to many friends & neighbors.
