My bedroom ceiling panel came down on 04/06/25 from water damage and it was a total disaster. Walton popped up on Google for Jackson Mississippi handymen, I called them and he came right over that day (04/07/25. He and his assistant Wesley were fantastic! Not only did they patch up the ceiling expertly, professionally, and quickly but they did so with hospitality, courteousness, and for a price that absolutely could not be beaten. They really came through and saved me. I cannot recommend them highly enough. It's no wonder they are so highly rated on the Google search engine.

Great Day!! I google carpenter and I came across Mr. Ishmar Walton. He stated, he would be at my home between 9-10 am and he arrived on time. He assess the back door of my home, which some parts had rotted, due to water damaged. In addition, he provided me with choices. He stated, we could repair it or purchase a new door. Once he looked further into the situation, he recommended, purchasing a new door with frame. He and another young gentleman installed the door but the trim was left off the door, because he was not able to get it from the store. Mr. Ishmar stated, he would go to Majestic Metal and he would call me upon his arrival on tomorrow, July 24, and have the trim done. Once it is completed, if he was not able to come himself to place it back on the door, he would send one of his workers to place it back on the door. Therefore, I paid him the amount that he asked for and it was balance remaining. He was an extremely polite, professional, and knowledgeable young man in regards to doors. As we were speaking, he was knowledgeable of other things pertaining to the make up of a home, such as gutters, pressure washing, and tree cutting. I enjoyed speaking with him and the young man who was with him. I look forward to seeing his arrival back with the trim or the person who may come in his place. Thank you, Ishmar. Due to the fact, the job is not fully complete. I will mark it 4 stars. Once it is completed fully, I will write another review. I was suppose to get a receipt, showing the balance that is due for the work. I am sure once he get situated, he will send it through. Again, Thank you.Update: Ishmar is an outstanding businessman and he is a man of his word. You can definitely count on his word. I truly appreciate a man who stands behind his word. This is extremely rare. The trim has been placed on my door and he hauled off the material as well. However, I did have to pay a small fee, which was fine with me. I will continue to use him for all my housing needs. Matter of fact, I hope to see him soon in regards to (soft wash) pressure washing the driveway and the siding on the house.
