We had a great experience working with this general contractor. From planning to completion, everything was handled smoothly and professionally. The team stayed on schedule, communicated clearly, and delivered excellent workmanship. They paid attention to every detail and ensured the project met our expectations. The final result looks amazing, and we would definitely hire them again.
This general contractor did an outstanding job on our renovation project. They were reliable, organized, and maintained clear communication from start to finish. The team showed excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail. The work was completed on time and within budget. We’re extremely satisfied with the results and would highly recommend their services to others.
Brandon and Kingdom construction were excellent. This was a difficult job involving a multifamily property, engineering for a concrete stairwell that was disintegrating and a clever approach to save money. They worked within the budget and were extremely flexible as the project sent us a few curveballs. While we were out there, other issues arose and his team jumped in to help with those as well. I found them knowledgable, capable, reliable and thorough. Highly recommend. Oh, and they called back when no one else was interested in this size of job.
Brandon and his team took our totally unfinished basement and transformed it into a warm and inviting space. They helped add a home office, craft room, partially finished laundry room, unfinished storage room, and tiny half bath. Brandon listened to what we wanted and helped make it happen. We ran into some issues with feasibility along the way, but Brandon/the team always took time to explain the problem and offer solutions to make it work.
Our experience with this company was a nightmare. Our project manager disappeared after two weeks, we never received a project schedule despite repeated requests, and we were constantly given last-minute notices that forced us to adjust our plans. We also had to clean up cigarette butts left all over our backyard to keep our one-year-old from picking them up, and we will likely have to remove the debris their clean-up team was supposed to handle over a month ago.The project started in early December. After priming the walls in mid-January, they told us to pick a paint color—then disappeared again. Nearly two weeks later, they resurfaced only to retrieve their dumpster and mention the gutter repair, which they had already brought up two weeks prior. They said they would send an estimate, but instead, the following week, we were hit with an unexplained $3,400 price increase on top of the gutter repair fee. When we asked for an itemized breakdown, we were met with multiple excuses. Despite repeated requests, we never received an updated order explaining the cost increase.I truly believe they couldn’t reasonably explain their sudden increase in the invoice and wanted to force us to agree to it to continue the work.Meanwhile, no work was done for almost a month, supposedly due to scheduling issues. However, we later found online reviews indicating they had completed other similar outside (roofing) projects during the same timeframe, which made us question the delays as they told us they could not repair our gutters due to weather. At that point, we decided to terminate the contract due to multiple breaches. We tried to be patient and resolve things amicably. We had already paid a 50% deposit on a $31K job, plus an additional $5K in progress payments. In total, we paid over 60% of the contract price, but the project was left unfinished. When we requested at least a partial refund of $5,000, we received no response.See attached images for how their invoices were presented, the incomplete work, and the cleanup left behind. We have already had people tell us that they will have to fix what was left behind.
