We have used Louisville Handyman for several jobs and have been happy with them every time. Chris Carroll at Louisville Handyman did the carpentry work around the fireplace and the tilework as well. The tile was very irregularly shaped and difficult to install, but he made it look fantastic! He always has a strong attention to detail and is eager to please. We highly recommend Chris and Louisville Handyman.
We worked with Louisville Handyman & Remodeling to completely remodel half of our previously unfinished basement. John and his team did a great job from demo all the way through completion! Their professionalism, expertise and courtesy were unmatched. As a result, we enjoy spending time in our basement instead of dreading having to pass through it. Our daughter now has a wonderful new play area that is bright, well-lit and comfortable. We are grateful for their incredible work and we will use them again in the future when the occasion arises. We highly recommend them all-around!!
Louisville Remodeling and Handyman was easy to work with. From the first phone call to the last the office personnel were prompt and courteous. Duane and Shawn, the craftsmen were awesome to work with. Knowledgeable and suggestive on ideas. Ricky the painter did not miss a beat. Louisville Remodeling did what they said they were going to do and how the day stated they would do each phase of the job. Customer service was outstanding. As Duane and Shawn were getting ready to leave they saw me struggling with getting new TV operating. They did in fifteen minutes what would have taken me so much longer. Hats off to those 2 men. I would recommend this company for any job one might need done. 5 STARS.
Brian, Duane, and the team did a great job installing a set of interior french doors that Lowes/Home Depot/others wouldn't do. Communication throughout the process with Brian & the team was great, and the job was done professionally with great results. Duane was clearly extremely capable & comfortable installing doors & the associated carpentry work. Strong recommend!
I had wood rot on my porch posts and balustrades and the crossheads of two windows. Brian, the estimator, gave me some good options and suggestions. Rather than replace just the bottom of the post , they found anentire matching post and rather than replace whole crossheads and risk some restructuring, we decided to repair the damaged portions.John and Trav were the craftsman that did the work. They were excellent! They knew what they were doing and didn't waste any time. They used a metal post jack to hold the roof upfor the full post and cut out a couple of rotting sections of the balustrade and replaced them so you couldn't even notice. They replaced the rotten trim on the crossheads with polyurethane trim and made a few blocks to replace the rotten parts of the crossheads. Then the painter team came a few days later and the the whole thing was pressure washed, sanded and painted. It's hard to find a good contracter for anything these days especially for a smaller job like this. I am completely satisfied and would recommend a consulation with Louisville Handyman for the projects you can't handle yourself.
