We hired Nextgen Construction to demo our bathroom, install a large format tile shower, and tile the floor. The entire experience was seamless from the very beginning. Angelina was very responsive and explained the entire process. We explained to Ruslan how we wanted the bathroom tile to look and be completed, and Ruslan overwhelmingly exceeded our expectations. Ruslan is a master at his craft. In addition, besides being a hard worker and great at his work, Ruslan was very respectful of our space and home. I will use this company in the future for other projects, and highly recommend them to my family and friends.
Nextgen did a great job on our remodel and were wonderful to work with from start to finish. They fully remodeled 3 bathrooms and did main level tile and kitchen backsplash, did various structure demo/repair including removing wood paneling, drywalled our basement ceiling and painted the whole interior, replaced wood trim, and replaced exterior and interior doors among other various items. They also connected us with other recommended specialties like a plumber that also did great work. We would highly recommend Nextgen.
I hired NextGen based on these Google reviews to remove the clawfoot tub and replace the bathroom tile in my 1915 house. A 3.5 week project. Did they do high quality work with attention to detail? – Yes. Would I hire them again? – Yes, I am planning to. Were they nice friendly people to deal with? – Yes.NextGen is owned and run by first generation Ukrainian immigrants Artur and Ruslan who assess, schedule and coordinate the job. The primary installer who spent hours in my house every day for weeks was Viktor who was very polite and made every attempt to be quiet and clean. I really appreciated his skill, attention to detail and friendly attitude.I designed the modernized bathroom tile layout and accessory details and I wanted things a very specific way to maintain and compliment my vintage house. It took half of the job before it became clear that the best way to communicate details was via text message. Text message provides specific and clear two-way translation between English and Ukrainian. I wish that had been suggested up front, but I imagine most people in modern houses do not need this level of detailed communication. Here are the tiles I picked out, there is the bathroom, done. You see the pictures of the results on these reviews, their other customers are clearly satisfied too. Their communication is developing.The other small issue was the plumber, again a communication issue only. The plumber was only required because we were replacing a tub with a shower. NextGen is not currently licensed to subcontract the plumber themselves, they are working on it. They offered me a couple names and I called and got estimates. No big deal, I was fine with hiring and paying the plumber separately. Surprisingly NextGen also wanted me to communicate and coordinate with the plumber about when they should do what work. This I was not fine with, but we figured it out. I know they will be reading this and pieces of this review are for them to improve their processes.I can’t give 4.5 stars so 5 stars it is. Bottom line, the end result carries the most weight in the review, the little issues will be forgotten but the great work will remain. When there was some question mark along the way, they were ready to help figure it out with no attitude. These guys are very genuine and hard working and I really liked all of them. They did great work for me and I will hire them back for the next project. Their company seems to be just getting on its feet and I wish them lots of success, I’m sure they will be scheduling months out before long...
Hired Next Gen on short notice to remove popcorn ceiling and install a knockdown finish. They responded quickly and were able to fit me in right away. Beyond this project, I’ve also seen their work firsthand on my best friend’s remodel where they installed new LVP flooring, trim, and completed a full bathroom remodel. The quality is top-notch. I sell real estate, so I see a lot of bad jobs out there, this team stands out for doing things the right way. I’ll definitely be using the Next Gen team again.
Nextgen repaired two water spots in our basement ceiling and did the finish work on a basement bedroom that we framed and sheet rocked. Their mudding and taping was excellent. They were reasonably priced and communicated well throughout the project. We will definitely use them again for future home projects.
