Great to work with and quality is second to none. We've used Northrup for 1 cedar roof(beautiful) and architectural shingle/gutter replacement on new house. Great crews, owner is a good fella and I would highly recommend Northrup!

We worked with Northrup on a bath remodel and are very, very happy with the work. Chris the project manager was always prompt in replying to any questions and his initial quote was very close to what we actually paid. He came out to take a look very quickly after my email inquiry and used absolutely no high pressure sales pitches. So different from another company we also got an estimate from that wanted us to sign a contract that very day for the entire amount. Definitely trust this local company and their management.

Every contractor or sub contractor who worked on the project was friendly and professional. The tile contractor, in particular, was amazing. His work is just unbelievably excellent and we knew when he would be there and any changes to his schedule; he also had ideas and suggestions for the tile that we hadn't thought of. The electricians, plumbers, drywallers, painters and carpenters were also great to work with and answered any questions or concerns we had.

Our bathroom was a total gut job and the project wasn't without surprises or snags (think plumbing that hadn't been updated since the 50s or misunderstandings about what type of accessory to order...all fixable stuff), but we couldn't be happier to recommend Northrup and look forward to working with them again.

Working with Northrup Remodeling was an absolute pleasure. We had purchased a home in Minneapolis to be used as a rental for my son and his friends. Once the sale finalized, we knew we wanted to make some upgrades to provide a safe, comfortable, and reliable place to live. We were on an impossible timeline, and we lived out of state and could not meet in person. I spoke with Ron Burgess, Senior Project Manager, and he asked what my vision was, what our priorities were, etc. I also asked his opinion on various options and he was extremely thorough with all available options; materials, costs, timelines, quality, longevity, etc.

Ron has been by far, the absolute best contractor that I have ever worked with. His communication was always prompt and informative, and he was very meticulous with every detail with regards to his crew and subcontractors. I trust Ron’s opinions, visions, honesty, integrity, as well as his dedication to his clients. I will use Ron and Northrup again for future projects. He is the absolute best by far!!

Sonja Blackstone on Northrup Remodeling

Northrup converted our 1940s addition 3-season porch into a fully integrated part of our home. The project included bringing the previous porch down to the studs, reinforcing the woefully under supported porch roof structure, creating an opening between the former porch space and the adjacent living room, and raising the porch floor to be flush with the living room floor. This was a detailed and involved project that involved a lot of small pieces that needed to work together seamlessly. Northrup took care of everything beautifully and left us with an amazing space we are proud to show off. We whole heartedly recommend their services and the project management of Ron Burgess.
