I still can't believe my good luck in encountering Dehterov Services. Vladyslav and his team came highly recommended by a coworker, and they absolutely exceeded all expectations.For many years I have been looking to fix my 100+ year old downtown house, with limited success. Dehterov Services were a godsend. After they fixed the siding on my house (adding excellent insulation, and painting it beautifully), I was so impressed that I asked them to fix everything I could think of: I would rather borrow money to have them do it than deal with anyone else! For all the amazing work they did, they didn't even run over their very reasonable quotes.They found ingenious ways to fix so many things which baffled previous contractors, from hard-to-reach piece of siding to drafty ceiling lights to basement air flow. Once I complained to them about how unsafe it is to have packages delivered to the front step, and the very next day Vladyslav came with a stunningly beautiful and multi-functional design of a front flowerbox with a large code lock box for deliveries.Their attention to detail is outstanding. For example, when they work on the scaffolding, they put a netting around it, to make sure nothing falls on the sidewalk. When inside, they'd change into indoor work shoes not to track the dirt into the house. They got special hinges for my electric panel door so that it takes less space, etc, etc...They keep meticulous records of what they are doing, communicating right away if anything needs my input. Always respecting my suggestions, though I quickly learned that Vladyslav's design decisions are better than mine, his taste is immaculate. When I was away, they would send me reports of what they have done every day, with photos and explanations. They would come every day, and work from 8am to 4pm, with hardly a lunch break.If you want someone to do an outstanding job on your house, with care and precision, not cutting any corners yet for a reasonable price, Dehterov Services is the people I'd contact. Their services are in high demand, but it is well worth the wait. I certainly will be going to them again if I need anything else done with the house.Update: One of the things they did was fixing the pipe insulation issue left from previous contractors. The pipes survived our recent -14C cold spell, when before they'd freeze at -4C.
We hired them to add two bedrooms to our existing basement, and the work was done to a very high standard. During the process, asbestos was discovered in the walls, which we were not aware of. Vlad took several samples and personally delivered them to a lab for testing. Once the results came back, the team arranged a specialized asbestos removal crew. Everything was handled professionally, safely, and quickly. The whole process was smooth, and we’re very happy with the final result.Yes we recommend Vlad and he’s Team.
