We continue to admire the porch/stair project done last year. It remains solid, and I appreciate the followup repairs made on time. Since it was installed, we have waited about 4-5 months for the lumber to 'weather in' and have followed up with a solid latex stain from PPG. It took the stain well, evenly and without runs or sags. Finally, we always intended to apply a metal cover on the stair nosings to protect against wood fiber separations or breaking. We feel that this has been a good decision to have RFH do the project and for us to finish it as we have done.Steve and April Webb
We needed a new flat roof on our two-story home, but we also wanted to address some HVAC duct work issues and lack of insulation. Colin and Sean developed a plan for the whole project and walked us through it. They took care to make the end result a more airtight and efficient house while preserving the historic character.
Rosette did an amazing job on our project, this involved making a new opening in our back brick wall to add a new window, replace our back door and needed drywall work on the interior. They did an amazing job reusing our old bricks. Any additional smaller stuff we requested was taken care of without any issues. Clear communication and all very friendly people!
We presented Colin and the Rosette team with the extremely specific, custom project of turning our unused breezeway space into a functional storage room to accommodate our newborn baby and the multitude of stuff that accompanies. After receiving either astronomical estimates and the feeling of “this project is not really worth our time” from other contractors, Colin was a breath of fresh air with his “we will get it done” approach. The team worked quickly and efficiently while communicating every step of the way. We are extremely pleased with the final results and will now recommend Rosette to anyone in the market for reliable custom work to be done to their homes.
