KITCHEN ADDITION- We started out with a small one wall kitchen which we were outgrowing. We have been saving for years wanting to extend our house on the patio side so we can move the kitchen in that space. JDI made that dream come true. They knocked down an exterior wall, poured new foundation, added a support beam and moved our garage door so we could end up with a bright, functional and beautiful kitchen. They also created a laundry closet for us so we no longer have to do laundry in the garage. Art, Eugene and Violet were super helpful and responsive. We really appreciated how quick our question were answered and knowing that if there were any issues that came up, someone will be there to answer our questions right away.

Of course, like any project, there were a few issues. A plumber made a mess at our house and left things in disarray. However, as soon as I told Art about it, it was resolved right away. There were also some change order costs that I was not anticipating so the project ended up costing about 20% more than I had budgeted. This is probably the only part where communication fell-through during this process though. Lastly, it was completed much later than originally planned. We anticipated for this to be done within 5-6 mos from the time we made the initial payment in April since baby was coming in October. It got delayed in engineering for a while though and with the 3 week time period it took for permitting to get approved, the project didn’t get started until September and completed by December. Eugene was great, he made it his goal to finish by December 24 so we could at least have a kitchen on Christmas Day.

Despite, all the snafus though, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and use JDI’s services for any future remodeling projects. I enjoyed the process of designing our new space and appreciated the feedback I got when there were concerns that came up based on the choices I was contemplating. THANK YOU JDI for our new wonderful space.

The Wife and I decided to get our kitchen remodeled. We called several remodeling companies, but nobody got back to us. A few days later, I found JDI and called them. Art was very responsive and came to our home. We discussed my pre-existing plans, and he connected me with a designer who helped refine them. During construction, Alex and Eric, our project managers, kept us well-informed about the progress. All the subcontractors were very professional. I'm very satisfied with my dream kitchen. We opted for drawers instead of base cabinet doors, which cost more, but we love them and don't have to kneel to get things. We are so happy with our beautiful new kitchen, all thanks to JDI – they made our dreams come true. If you're looking for remodeling, don't hesitate to contact them you wont be sorry.

We hired JDI Construction for a full remodel of two bathrooms, and overall, we’re extremely happy with the results. The project was completed on time, and whenever issues came up, they were handled quickly and proactively.

The pricing was excellent — what many companies would charge for a single shower remodel, JDI accomplished for two full bathrooms. We chose Sentrel bath panels, which look beautiful and are very easy to clean.

Art provided quick, clear quotes and was great to work with. Eric, the project manager, was especially impressive — efficient, communicative, and genuinely committed to customer satisfaction. Violet was a lifesaver when our original shower hardware was recalled; she helped us select replacement materials seamlessly. The crew who handled wall texture and painting were true artists — their work was flawless.

We also really appreciated the transparency and communication throughout the project via the Buildertrend app, which made it easy to follow progress in real time.

The only minor downside was the amount of caulking on the Sentrel panel pieces — more than I would have preferred, though that appears to be a product issue rather than workmanship.

Overall: Excellent service, great value, and a trustworthy team. We would definitely hire them again and recommend them to anyone looking for quality work at a fair price.
