This review is based solely on a meeting and estimate, not a completed job. I had the pleasure of meeting with Dan to explore a master bathroom remodel and a few other renovation items in our new home. I really appreciated how professional and thorough Dan was in evaluating our project, and got the sense it would be great to work with KC Remodeling. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to proceed because the estimate came in at more than double the cost of the nearest alternative bid (which was already higher than others), for the exact same materials and choices. If you have unlimited budget, definitely give these guys a call, but just know to save yours and their time that they are by far the most expensive option compared to similar contractors. The whole KC Remodeling team was great to work with. I’m a designer so I provided drawings and a clear vision for the project - vertical wood paneling and mantel on our existing fireplace, 8’ long floating shelves and the installation of 18” depth cabinets with a bar sink next to our fireplace in our open floorplan living room/kitchen. They executed my vision perfectly and coordinated with me and the quartz countertop installation and cabinetmaker on a pretty tight timeline. My wife was induced to deliver our twins at 36 weeks, exactly when all the important parts of the project came together. The KC Remodeling team had full control of my house while I was back and forth from the hospital. Their communication throughout the project was great, switching their main point of contact to my dad for the few days I was unavailable, and they left my house clean enough to bring newborn twins home.

Extremely professional crew - I’ll be calling them up the next time I’ve got another project/vision to bring to life.

We came to KC Remodeling over a year ago for a restoration project from water damage in our home. Due to insurance bureaucracy , we ultimately were unable to move forward with this company in the restoration of our home. But I NEVER forgot them and the minute we needed remodeling work done for a separate project, I KNEW who I wanted to use. So I called Mason and his team. Our master bath walk in shower was showing some issues with grout and water retention; I knew things weren’t right. Mason and Dan came in to inspect the issue. It was not clear where the water was accumulating in the shower pan, but was clear was that we needed to demo portions to figure out the extent of the issue. Mason’s team was delicate in the demolition of our first level of travertine in the shower to see if it was possible to preserve the shower rather than remodel it. They took extra care in removing the first level of tile, but at the end of the day, the shower needed to be renovated. So, we moved forward with a full remodel. I cannot rave ENOUGH about how professional this company was throughout the entire process. The project took a little over a month to complete, but you better believe Tyler (the gentleman who performed the remodel) vacuumed up any remnants of his mess EVERY single day when his day was over. He ensured our home was pristine before he left. This level of detail translated as well into the final product. Mason and his crew are not the least expensive contractor out there, and for a good reason. I was more than happy to pay what I did for the level of craftsmanship, detail and professionalism their entire team displayed. Thank you KC remodeling and crew. I am THRILLED with my new shower!!!!!!
